ALBAWABA- After nearly six months of relentless Israeli aggression on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of over 32,000 Palestinians and leaving 75,000 injured, with many succumbing to malnutrition, the Palestinian resistance has struck back.
In a significant development, missiles were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli sites and towns. Sirens blared in Ashdod, situated north of the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, a military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility, stating that they bombed occupied Ashdod in retaliation for the Israeli targeting of civilians.
Reports from Israeli sources indicate that while the Israeli Army managed to intercept two out of the eight rockets fired from Gaza towards Ashdod, the attack originated from the central region of the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, the Al-Quds Brigades, affiliated with the Islamic Jihad movement, reported bombing the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Complex, located west of Gaza City, with 60-caliber mortar shells.
