Palestinian Resistance Kills At Least 12 Israeli Soldiers in Jenin, Nablus

Media reports said on Tuesday morning that at least 12 Israeli soldiers were killed in Jenin and Nablus. According to the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera television, ten soldiers were killed in Jenin refugee camp and two in Nablus.  

 

According to reports, a well planned Palestinian ambush, combined with landmines and snipers, led to this high number of Israeli soldiers dead in Jenin. 

 

The Israeli media have yet to confirm these reports.  

 

Haaretz reported on Tuesday morning that fierce battles continued in the Jenin refugee camp. Israeli military sources reported strong resistance in the Jenin camp through Monday night and Tuesday morning. Nine of the 11 soldiers who have died since the Israeli operation was launched on March 29, were killed in Jenin. (Albawaba.com)
