Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmud Abbas arrived in Doha Tuesday on the third part of a regional tour focused on Middle East peace efforts.
Abbas held talks with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani. The meeting was attended by Qatar's heir apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani as well, according to Qatar News Agency.
On the Palestinian side, Information Minister Dr. Nabil Amr, Foreign Undersecretary Majdi Al-Khalidi and Charges D'Affaires of the Palestinian embassy in Doha Tahseen Mohammad Al Miquatti also took part in the meeting.
Recent developments in the Arab world were discussed, with an emphasis placed on the Palestinian issue. (Albawaba.com)
