Unconfirmed news reports suggested that the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was felled by a stroke Sunday night following which he was in a coma. The Libyan president was hospitalized at a "serious" condition, the reports added.

Apparently, Gaddafi was rushed to the hospital Sunday after a blood clot was discovered in his brain.  Gaddafi's children, who reside in Europe, were recalled to his bedside in Tripoli, the Palestinian news agency MA'ANNEWS added.
