Palestinian Ambassador to Moscow Khalil al-Aridi said on Monday in the Russian capital that Iran is a serious supporter of the resistance movement of the Palestinian nation.
During a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Gholam Reza Shafei, he stressed the need for the continuation of the Palestinian Intifada or uprising as the only solution to the Palestinian crisis.
Referring to the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinians, al-Aridi said that the massacre of innocent people and the martyrdom of 120 Palestinians during the past week are examples of inhumane acts committed by the Zionist regime, IRNA reported.
Describing the current situation in the occupied territories as very difficult, he said the people are even deprived of the primary facilities including drinking water.
Furthermore, he thanked the Iranian ambassador for his presence in the Palestinian embassy in Moscow. The staff of the Iranian embassy attended the meeting in the Palestinian embassy in Moscow to express their sympathy with the innocent Palestinian people. (Albawaba.com)
