Pakistan's prominent nuclear scientist and father of its nuclear bomb, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan has denied any involvement in leaking sensitive information on nuclear technology to Iran.
Khan told Geo - a private satellite Television channel, that he was being accused for nothing, and added that he has never visited Iran.
His remarks follow a recent statement by Pakistan's Foreign Ministry's spokesman Masood Khan in which he said Khan was being asked about the "debriefing" of certain Pakistani nuclear scientists.
"I don't know any Iranian or any Iranian scientist," Dr. Khan made clear.
"Accusations against me are natural. I will be targeted naturally because I made the nuclear bomb and I made the missile," he said.
Meanwhile, for his part, Pakistan's Science and Technology Minister, Dr. Ataur Rehman said, "We will always stand beside Khan firmly. Let's not be daunted by the things that are happening to him." (Albawaba.com)
