Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf left Islamabad Monday to begin his three-day visit of the UAE and Saudi Kingdom.
The visit will serve to further enhance Pakistan's relations with these “brotherly countries”, the Kuwait News Agency KUNA reported.
Upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi Monday, the President is scheduled to meet with UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan, and hold official talks with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE armed forces Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
Later on in the evening, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan is expected to host a banquet in honor of the visiting President.
KUNA added that on Tuesday, Musharraf is due to arrive in the Saudi Red Sea city of Jeddah and meet with Crown Prince Abbdullah.
During the overnight stay, the President will perform Umrah, and return to Islamabad on June 12. (Albawaba.com)
