ALBAWABA - Oxfam, a non-governmental organization, called for an international investigation into the killing of four water engineers in the Gaza Strip on Saturday's attack.
Oxfam released a statement condemning the attack that killed four water engineers and workers from the Khuzaa municipality.
It added that the Oxfam workers also used to collaborate with their strategic partner "the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility (CMWU)."
Oxfam said: "The four men were killed on their way to conduct repairs to water infrastructure in Khuzaa, east of Khan Younis. Despite prior coordination with Israeli authorities, their clearly marked vehicle was bombed." It added: "Oxfam stands in solidarity with the CMWU, their partners and the families of the victims."
The organization also decried targeting civilian infrastructure or humanitarian and aid workers highlighting that attacks are "clear violations of international humanitarian law." It also called for punishment and private investigation into such violations.
Oxfam maintained in the statement, shared on its official website: "Such attacks are part of the crime of using starvation as a weapon of war."
