overwhelming response to cityspace workplace freedom seminars
CitySpace, an independent interior design company specialising in corporate workplace solutions witnessed increased registrations and interest for the ‘Workplace Freedom’ seminars at the Office Exhibition 2007 where leading international specialists shared their knowledge and expertise on workplace-related developments and innovations.
Jon Steiner, Executive Director of CitySpace said, “We had industry leaders speaking on all the four essential areas of our working life (design, mobility, ergonomics and innovation) in the seminars. The seminars helped participants become aware of the need to create a motivating and productive working environment that encourages knowledge sharing, communication, and innovation.”
CitySpace plans the layout of the interior space of a building to meet the needs of the user by not only positioning the physical elements such as walls, desks and chairs strategically but also taking into account the office amenities, gadgets, IT and communication systems, sound, air and light control within a specified space.

Their workplace services include occupancy consultancy, concept design, space planning, project management and fit-out. All these topics were highlighted in the seminars and as reflected in the end of talk question and answer sessions, proved beneficial to the participants.
International experts for the three day seminar programme spoke on topics such as the collaborative workplace, break-out space, the ergonomic office, working lives, workplace change, the village office, sustainability, design with the future in mind, designing the future office, business communication and the growing role of mobility as well as cable management in office furniture – connections made easy.
Speakers included specialists from CitySpace, TVS, sponsored by Allsteel Inc, OrangeBox, Colebrook Bosson Saunders, Samas, Haworth, Lissoni Associati, BIOS Middle East and Office Electrics.
