Orange Jordan, the sole integrated operator in the Kingdom, has launched during a press conference a first-of-its-kind service called “Business Everywhere” through Orange Business Services which enables subscribers to stay in touch with their businesses effectively and with high quality, wherever and whenever, through connecting their laptops over GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, or ADSL services.

The conference was headed by Jordan Telecom Group CEO Mr. Mickael Ghossein, the Vice President Mr. Francois De Loynes and Mr. Sami Smeirat, JTG VP/CEO of the Enterprise Business Unit.

“The increase in communications and commercial business transactions made staying in touch with the business environment - including customers, partners and suppliers - and easily accessing the company’s resources and applications fundamental requirements in the competitive market we see today. As a result, Orange took the initiative to be the pioneer in launching  Business Everywhere service which enables Orange Business Services’ subscribers to check and follow up their work anytime with the same simplicity, comfort and absolute safety as if they were in their office,” said Ghossein in his welcoming speech.

" One of the obstacles that stand in the way of office work is traveling, and this is where the importance of accessing the internet and the corporate network  (intranet) from the airport, hotel or home appears. Business Everywhere service plays a major role in providing solutions that add value to commercial businesses,” commented Smeirat.

Demonstrating on Business Everywhere’s characteristics, Marketing & Sales Support Director Ashraf Ayoub said: “This service gives our customers the opportunity to explore the internet and use the applications of their corporate network, and further provides them with the ability to send and receive business emails and SMS by inserting the SIM card inside the laptop card.”

This service comes in various packages with different types starting from 10 megabytes reaching to 5 gigabytes and with prices that range between JD1 up to JD25 in addition to a monthly subscription that reaches to JD4.
