Turkey’s True Path Party (DYP) leader Tansu Ciller said on Wednesday in her party's group meeting in Parliament that Turkey is in the midst of chaos and there is uncertainty about who will end this chaotic situation.

"The administration of the country has lost its control. It is extremely important that the number of those who believe that a foreign authority will solve Turkey's problems is increasing," Ciller, a former premier, said, quoted by Turkish Daily News.

Ciller claimed that Turkey has entered a brand-new interim era, leaving political institutions out, and that the boss of this era is not an internal power.

Born in Istanbul in 1946, the Turkish politician was Turkey's first female prime minister from 1993-96, and has been central in Turkish politics since then.

Her politics have been marked by attempts to liberalize both the economy of Turkey and the individual rights of its people – Albawaba.com
