Dubai-based leadership training organisation, 8ack International has announced the launch of developing Leaders, a ground-breaking programme set to debut in UAE in February 2010. It will be delivered by one of the world’s leading authors of leadership and management books, Professor Adrian Furnham. Professor Furnham is Professor of Psychology at the Business Psychology Unit of the UK’s University College London (UCL).
Mike Atack, Managing Director of the programme organiser, 8ack International, said the five-series programme journeys through theory, demonstration, practice, corrective feedback and in-situation coaching, using a process where learning soars to 90 per cent.
“Effective leadership skills and abilities can be acquired through learning, and developing Leaders has designed a model that works on a research-backed platform that will take each participate on a journey that beings with theory and proceeds right through to the in-situation coaching needed to achieve behavioural change,” said Atack.
He said that Professor Furnham will lead the new-to-market programme, with a team of carefully-selected executive coaches. Forum One of developing Leaders kick starts in Dubai in late February and there will be a maximum ratio of eight participants to every coach.
The programme is designed of people at the top and senior managers who are being groomed for directorship.
“This programme is for talented managers who have their sights set on leadership roles. developing Leaders has already received wonderful interest with confirmations from leading organisations in UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia,” Atack concluded.
8ack International is the Dubai based training and development organisation with a focus on developing top management.
