Latest Updates from the Best of Breed in Data Networking Solutions Running Alongside Gitex Technology Week 2007
OnLine Distribution, the value-added distributor for data networking products and services, today announced that they will be hosting a first of its kind IT networking lounge at the Ibis Hotel, World Trade Center from the 9th-11th of September 2007
The lounge will enable Middle East customers to get the latest updates from a wide range of top IT vendors.
The unique networking lounge will profile the latest technology products from Online Distribution’s extensive brand portfolio with specific themes designed for each day.
Running alongside Gitex Technology Week 2007, Online Distribution, together with its partners, will be conducting product updates, one to one meetings with vendors, and round table meetings on request, with additional daily breakfast events.
“Online Distribution’s networking lounge will give our customers a chance to unwind over a cup of coffee and at the same time get the latest information from key players in the technology market, so we have themed this event as ‘It’s not always about business,’” said Venu Menon, Sales Director, Online Distribution.
“Online Distribution feels that this new concept of a networking lounge will be the ideal place for our channel partners to get a preview and better understanding of our extensive business portfolio, new customer wins, and specific solutions we provide for different businesses,” added Menon.
Leading Enterprise Mobility vendor, Motorola, will be the main sponsor of the opening day of the networking lounge with ‘Enterprise Mobility in IT’ as its theme.
“Secure Your Networks” will be the main focus for day two, when Trend Micro and Juniper Networks will host industry specific demonstrations on the top of the line IT security solutions.
The final day of the networking lounge will centre on “Convergence”. Online Distribution will announce details of their new business unit; major vendor sign ups, and provide updates on current and emerging technologies in the convergence space.
The networking lounge will run from September 9th-11th 2007 from 10am-6pm at the Ibis Hotel, Dubai World Trade Center.
