Omani visitor at GITEX Technology Week 2007 gets lucky with HP

HP Middle East announced today the lucky winner of it’s GITEX Shopper 2007 ‘Scratch ‘n’ Win’ promotion – A Bayliner Bowrider Speed Boat. The 175, 18 ft, 135 HP speed boat was awarded to Abdul Aziz Al Waili, an Omani shopper, who entered the draw after purchasing HP’s latest Tablet PC.
Abdul Aziz Al Waili visiting from Oman said: “I’m extremely happy for wining such a special prize, and I would like to thank HP for its continuous dedication towards its customers. Quite honestly, I didn’t expect myself to win, which is why the excitement and happiness of winning the prize is so much more. I now look forward to visiting GITEX again next year and buying the latest tech gadgets from HP.”
This year in Gitex Shopper 2007, HP ran an exciting ‘Scratch ‘n’ Win’ promotion on every purchase of HP products worth AED 300. Consumers who bought an HP camera or photo-printer pulled out a coupon from the ‘HP Wall of Fortune’ and won iPaqs, cameras, brander mugs, beach chairs and Xbox 360s.
On purchase of HP notebooks and desktops, consumers also won cash-backs ranging from AED 50 to AED 3000.
All shoppers of HP products also automatically entered a raffle draw for a chance to win the ultimate grand prize-A Bayliner Bowrider Speed Boat.
