Omani Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received a written message from President Jiang Zemin of the People’s Republic of China dealing with bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
The message was delivered by Wu Yi, State Councilor in the People’s Republic of China during a meeting with the Sultan in his office at Bait Al Mamourah in Salalah Saturday, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
During the meeting, aspects of existing cooperation between Muscat and Beijing and means of strengthening them were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Maqbool bin Ali Sultan, Omani Minister of Commerce and Industry, the Chinese ambassador to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the visiting guest, according to ONA. (Albawaba.com)
