Hundreds of students from Sohar University, the college of education in Sohar and several schools in the Wilayat staged peaceful marches Saturday in solidarity with the Palestinian people in their current plight due to the “barbaric actions by the Israeli occupation forces” against the Palestinian people, Oman News Agency (ONA) said.
The Omani students condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ atrocities, torture, displace and destructive measures against the Palestinian people, ONA reported.
Furthermore, a group of education college students in Salalah and several schools staged similar marches in solidarity with the people of Palestine in which they denounced the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinians. They emphasized the Arabism of Jerusalem and urged the international community to stand by human rights and consciences, the News Agency concluded. (Albawaba.com)
