Hundreds of Omani citizens staged a march on the streets of Oman’s capital city of Muscat Tuesday in support of the Palestinian Intifada or uprising and to protest the “brutal carnage” perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces against the brotherly Palestinian people, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
The marching Omani citizens condemned the Israeli killings of the Palestinians, the siege of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and the destruction of the Palestinian infrastructures and the institutions of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA).
In addition, they expressed solidarity with their Palestinian brothers and urged the international community to put a stop to the Israeli brutality, ONA added.
Similar marches were staged in Muscat and elsewhere in the Sultanate of Oman over the past few days in solidarity with the Palestinians. (Albawaba.com)
