An Omani she camel named “Bint Mashhoor” was sold for RO. 90,000 (US$ 234,000) to a UAE citizen.
According to ONA, Bint Mashhoor was owned by Sheikh Hamoud bin Nassir al-Hashmi from the wilayat of Al-Kamil Wal Wafi. It won first position in a 3 kilometer long race held in the Sharqiyah region recently. It finished the race in 4 minutes and 25 seconds.
