A ceremony was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel Wednesday to mark the World Aids Day which focuses on woman this year. According to <i>ONA</I>, Dr. Sharifa bint Khalfan al Yahieyaiah, Oman's Minister of Social Development, presided over the ceremony. It was attended by Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Moosa, Minister of Health and senior officials.
The ceremony was addressed by representatives of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) in the Sultanate.
