Oman will continue its thrust towards industrialization to reduce its dependence on oil income while offering incentives to the private sector to boost output, said Oman's Minister of Commerce and Industry, Maqbool bin Ali Sultan on Monday.
His remarks came during the inauguration of a food processing factory owned by Omani-European Food Processing Co, reported the Gulf News.
Meanwhile, he said that Oman's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) has opened new prospects for foreign investment in the potential-rich tourism sector, where several projects are in the pipeline - Albawaba.com
