Oman deputy PM keen on expanding ties with Iran

Oman's Deputy Prime Minister Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said said in Muscat on Monday that officials of his country want to  

expand relations with Iran despite regional developments and under any condition.  

 

During the meeting with Iran`s First Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Aref, the Omani official said Sultan Qaboos of Oman has always emphasized the extension of relations with Iran, therefore, Muscat`s position on Iran has always been clear and in the direction of promotion of ties, IRNA said. 

 

Oman`s deputy prime minister expressed satisfaction over the intention of the two countries' officials on the  

"establishment of firm relations" and said in spite of regional developments, this intention would stay firm, strong and steady. (Albawaba.com)
