The health of former Egyptian president has been deteriorating. He had suffered several blackouts since he was transferred to Tora prison just over a week ago, a prison official conveyed Sunday.

His doctors had already connected him to an oxygen machine Wednesday night. Officials at the Tora prison had indicated that Mubarak continued to suffer from respiratory problems, hypertension and depression.
