Number of tourists increases in Sousse

According to the lastest report of the Tourism Office in Sousse, the number of tourists in the area has shown a significant increase. La Presse reports that from January to July 2005, Britons stayed 925,830 nights in more than 110 hotels in Sousse, followed by Germans (787,688 nights), Russians (359,380 nights), Scandinavians (275,017 nights), Belgians (180,767 nights), Italians (151,750 nights) and French (151,529 nights). For the same period of the year, number of tourists coming from the region was recorded as 38,396 nights.
