Nine people, including five children, were admitted to a hospital in the Lebanese city of Baalbek on Sunday due to food poisoning from eating raw meat.
Five of those poisoned come from the Abdel-Sater family, who bought the meat from a popular market in the city, said the Beirut-based Daily Star newspaper.
Akram Rifai, commissioned by the judiciary, examined the patients and submitted a medical report to the Health Ministry as well as to Baalbek's municipality for the necessary legal procedures, it said – Albawaba.com
