One tip off Tuesday led to the discovery of nine bombs and two boxes hidden in bags in Abdullah Al-Salem neighbourhood close to the Kuwaiti capital. A ministry statement, cited by Kuna, said the authorities headed to the location after a call from a citizen.
The statement added two suspicious bags in Sharq Mall were reported and investigated, adding that they did not jeopardize public safety.
