New Slovak Ambassador to Iran Yan Yoursa submitted in Tehran Monday a copy of his credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi.
The Slovak envoy said that during his term in Iran he would do his outmost to develop bilateral relations, "notably the trade relations between Iran and Slovakia."
In addition, he conveyed an invitation on behalf of the Slovak foreign minister for Kharrazi to visit Bratislava.
He also said his country is ready to take part in infrastructure projects in Iran, the Islamic Republic News Agency reported Monday.
Kharrazi, on his part, expressed Iran's interests in an expansion of bilateral ties in all fields and called for the joint economic commission to carry out an assessment on the two countries’ current and potential economic capabilities. (Albawaba.com)
