First 10,000 customers to purchase 1 GB Internet Packs receive One Month Download for Free
To support the launch of the ground-breaking Mobile Internet Packs from Qtel, the first 10,000 customers to purchase the 1 Gigabyte plan will be entitled to one month of data downloads for free.
The promotion is available to customers who subscribe in September, so that people have round-the-clock local access to Facebook, Google, Youtube and other popular social networking sites from their mobiles.
Qtel’s Mobile Internet Packs work across all Smartphones and all web-enable phones, ensuring that all customers can benefit from this innovative new service, and are particularly well-suited for the new generation of iPhones.
Mobile Internet Packs are currently available exclusively for Shahry customers.

Customers who subscribe to a new Mobile Internet Pack in the middle of their billing cycle will be provided with the following month 1 GB download for free, while those subscribing at the start of the cycle will have immediate access to the free download.

The new Mobile Internet Packs are available in 50MB, 250 MB, 1 Gigabyte, 3 Gigabyte, and Unlimited plan options, at a monthly cost of QR 25, QR 50, QR 100, QR200, and QR 400 respectively.
Mobile Internet Packs are available to all Shahry customers, and Shahry Value Pack customers can continue to use their Data Download capacity, provided with every Value Pack, alongside their chosen pack.
Customers may also choose to pay for Internet access “As You Go.” The fee is QR 10 per MB. Whatever the option selected, the new Mobile Internet Packs translate into highly competitive prices.
The promotion runs until 30 September 2009, and customers must subscribe to the 1 GB Pack before that date to be eligible for the free month of downloads.
