New Look For ADDF Website

Online sales of the Abu Dhabi Duty Free “Big Ticket” have virtually doubled since the launch of their new website recently. The new site has been designed in a modern and contemporary way and caters to all visitors. It has all the latest information concerning Abu Dhabi Duty Free, including an outline of the special offers and new arrivals that are available at the Duty Free, as well as detailed information about the onsite facilities available to passenger and visitors alike.

“We believe that a website is an integral part of any business,” says Mohamed Mounib, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Duty Free and In Flight Catering. “It’s not simply an information site, but a productive business tool. Proof of how it reaches consumers can be seen in the results of our online Big Ticket sales. Since the launch of the new site, online sales have shown a significant increase. Throughout 2005, sales have increased by more than 80%,” he said.

The original site was launched in 2002 but since then, dramatic changes have taken place within the business, including the addition of two new temporary airport terminals.
“With business growing rapidly at ADDF, we saw the need to update and revamp our website to include the new business concepts and campaigns,” he concluded.

Visitors to the site can also find the latest offerings in Duty Free and catch up on Duty Free news such as the major expansion plans which will see Abu Dhabi Duty Free grow into a substantially-sized airport complex over the next 4 years.
