The Islamic Republic of Iran announced on Tuesday the appointment of Massoud Idris Karmanshahi as new ambassador to Lebanon, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
Karmanshahi has occupied in the past many posts at the Iranian Foreign Ministry including Middle East and North African Department Chief, Iranian ambassador to Cuba, Iranian Charge d’affairs to Mexico and Iranian Foreign Ministry’s First Office for American Affairs Chief. (Albawaba.com)
