Four new governors on Tuesday took the oath before President Bashar al-Assad at al-Rawda Palace. The new governors are as follow:
-Mr. Ahmad Shehada Khalil as governor of Raqqa.
-Mr. Said Daoud Elia as governor of Idleb.
-Mr. Mohammed Iyad Taha Ghazal as governor of Homs.
-Mr. Ali Ahmad Mansoura as governor of Sweida.
The President received the new governors separately and provided them with his directives, wishing them success in their missions.
Meanwhile, Walid Muhiddin al-Mu’allem on Tuesday took the oath before al-Assad as Deputy Foreign Minister in Syria.
