NEC Display Solutions will be showcasing its uniquely extensive DICOM display product portfolio for the medical market at the ECR Radiology Congress 2010, being held in Vienna from the 4th to the 8th of March. The 21.3-inch 3MP NEC MD213MC monitor is a perfect example of the trend towards the increased use of colour displays in medical diagnostics. Its patented X-Light® 3 technology guarantees a stable and reliable DICOM Part 14 conforming image at all times. A pre-set and calibrated white point and brightness setting of the backlight is constantly checked and automatically adjusted. The portfolio of DICOM-compliant medically-certified desktop monitors from NEC Display Solutions includes grayscale and colour displays ranging from two to five Megapixels.
