This week, BurJuman will bring the history of the Native American people to its halls and a series of exciting activities as it hosts Adventure Surprises from July 26th to August 1st from 5pm to 10pm, during Dubai Summer Surprises 2007.
Focusing on the ‘Native American’ theme, spectators will get a chance at experiencing their way of life in a theatrical atmosphere, allowing for both an interactive and animated opportunity to engage everyone in the history of the 'Red Indians'. Native American tribes have a cultural history of being excellent storytellers, and many of those stories will be shared with the already-enthusiastic audience.
What also characterises the Red Indians from other ancient societies is their affluent contribution to the rich tapestry of American society. Native Americans have made countless augmentation to the humanities, such as oral literary traditions, art, sculpture, beadwork, music, poetry and literature. Several of the activities that defined the Native way of life will be transposed and created into a play for shoppers to enjoy at BurJuman. Spectators are urged to look forward to the final ceremony which is crucial to any Red Indian meeting, a Powwow.
On the more action-adventure side, there will be an inflatable Surf Board for everyone to participate in. The mechanical simulation aims to teach and engage everyone in the art of surfing. For those in the competitive spirit, a 4-way Sports Challenge will be included where children can create their own teams and compete against one another.
