ALBAWABA - The fate of 2000 Palestinians who were caught up in the Israeli army's raid into the Nasser Hospital complex in Khan Yunis, Gaza, is still unknown, which is a concerning development.

The civil defence workers at the Nasser Hospital complex resumed their rescue attempts into the fourth day, according to the government's media office in Gaza. Today, 73 more remains were recovered from the mass grave, bringing the total since Friday to 283.

42 people have been positively identified from the collected bodies. Israel has been under fire for dumping trash on the dead and burying them far down in the sand.

There are still questions regarding the approximately two thousand people that were in Nasser Hospital when the Israeli operation occurred, and it is unclear if they were captured or killed.

Disturbing information was also released by the media office, which claimed that some remains—including those of women and the elderly—showed symptoms of execution, including chained hands and naked bodies.

Concerns about responsibility and the humanitarian effects of the Israeli airstrike on Nasser Hospital remain as the situation develops.
