Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's Political Advisor Usama al-Baz called upon Israel Monday to "stop its nuclear program" and to "destroy its nuclear and chemical arsenals" which threaten regional security, SANA news agency reported.
Furthermore, al-Baz urged Israel to put an end to its "expansionist plans in the occupied Arab territories" and to "stop building settlements", warning against the Israeli practices, which "hinder any effort aiming at the realization of a just peace in the region", the Syrian news agency concluded.
