Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak called Israeli Defense Minister Binyamin Ben Eliezer to express concern with regards to the increasing number of Palestinian attacks inside Israel, the Israeli Yediot Aharonot daily reported Thursday.
"Mubarak expressed concern over the resurgence of Palestinian attacks in Israel, and (the two discussed) ways to return calm with a view to re-launching discussions on a political settlement," during a telephone conversation held on Wednesday night, the daily said. (Albawaba.com)
