Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak phoned Palestinian leaders Tuesday to brief them on Cairo's efforts to help broker a cease-fire with Israel, the official MENA news agency reported.
Mubarak "exchanged views" with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Prime Minister Mahmud Abbas "on the results of the efforts undertaken by the Egyptian delegation", the agency said. (Albawaba.com)
