MTI automotive announces participation in automech 2008
Models from Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley, Maserati and Ferrari to be Displayed Together for First Time
MTI Automotive, the sole importer of Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley, Maserati and Ferrari in Egypt, will showcase their top models from all five of their brands at this year’s upcoming Automech Akhbar El Yom, the leading international auto show in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The Exposition, which will take place from June 5th to the 9th, will be held at the Cairo International Fair Ground in Nasr City, giving the event 40,000 square meters of space to display the top cars from around the world.
Because of the size and past history of the event, MTI is confident that this will be the ideal venue to showcase their vehicles. “We’ve participated in Automech before, so we know the type of opportunity we have to reach out to Egyptian drivers,” stated MTI Chairman Khaled Mahmoud. “This event has a solid reputation in the industry, and all the most serious names are going to be there. Automech is going to be the perfect place to showcase the quality cars that only MTI is offering the Egyptian market.”
Unique to this years show, MTI will be displaying for the first time, models from all five of its top quality brands. “I think this year we are going to have just about something for every taste imaginable,” added MTI General Manager Ahmed El Gharib. “For the rugged adventurer, we have five models from Land Rover; for those looking for speed and handling, we have a great selection from Maserati and Ferrari; and for unparalleled luxury, Bentley and Jaguar will leave you breathless.”
Also significant is the presence of the all new Jaguar XF, which has just recently hit the streets of Egypt. After tearing up the roads of Europe, and earning the praise of all the top critics, MTI released the XF to Egyptian drivers, giving them the car that will change the standards for sports saloons forever.
But the XF won’t be the only car that MTI has to offer from Jaguar; both the 09 MY XJ and the X-Type will be on display for those looking for new ways to speed off in style.
Powered by the Jaguar AJ-V6 engine, and featuring the patented Jaguar Traction 4, all wheel drive system, the X-Type is a 4-door sedan that places a focus on luxury and refinement.
Taking a turn off the beaten path, MTI will give viewers the chance to see five of Land Rover’s top model SUVs. With a top-notch safety system, amazing performance, and luxurious interior, the LR2 will shatter your expectations of what driving an SUV should feel like.
When it comes to unsurpassed durability, the LR2’s big brother, the LR3, steps up to the plate like no other vehicle in its class. The LR3’s Terrain Response system allows drivers to effortlessly switch between urban and off-road environments, letting the computer do the difficult work, and giving you more flexibility in driving.
