Government sources in Rabat indicated last week that Morocco had launched a new "diplomatic offensive" aimed at explaining its position on the Sahara conflict to various countries' leaders, in particular in Africa and in Central America.

Bladi.Net reports that in the framework of this new diplomatic offensive, several Moroccan Ministers, deputies and high ranking officials, have already set off or are under way to set off to various countries in these regions "in order to inform them on the situation in the Sahara and to explain the Moroccan position concerning this conflict". The "offensive" is scheduled to continue until the end of July.
