Morocco expels 1321 Algerians

The illegal immigration unit of Wajda security forces expelled 1,321 Algerians since the beginning of 2005, most of them are young people who came from the west Algerian cities, and brought 79 Algerians to court accusing them of entering Morocco illegally, holding fake personal documents and forged money, reported the Moroccan newspaper, Al-Alam on August 4, 2005.


There are currently 19 Algerians in Wajda civil prison, sentenced for prison terms of between 3 months and one year.


During 2004, the security authorities in Wajda expelled 1600 Algerians and brought 180 others to justice.
