The Moroccan minister of Finance and Privatization, Fathallah Oualalou, met Tuesday November 9 in Rabat with the President of the Economic Council of Gabon, Luis Gaston Mayila, as part of his visit to Morocco, according to Moroccan government sources.
The two parties discussed how they could boost economic cooperation and Moroccan minister Oualalou marked the importance of bilateral relations between the two countries, noting their mutual strategic interests. Mr. Mayila noted the importance to Gabon of the trade privileges and said that the two countries are in the interest of developing all the African region.
The visit was held under the auspices of the President of Moroccan Chamber of Commerce, Abdelouahed Radi. Gabon representatives also met with the Moroccan prime minister Driss Jettou and the President of the Council of Advisors, Mustapha Oukacha. (albawaba.com)
