A growing number of Middle Eastern public and private organizations are outsourcing their key support functions such as IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Logistics, and Maintenance to streamline their operations and focus on core competencies. The benefits and challenges of outsourcing within the Middle East will be thoroughly discussed during the 2nd Annual Arab Outsourcing Conference & Expo 2010 which starts yesterday (Sunday, April 25, 2010) and runs until April 28, 2010 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.

The outsourcing of information and communications technology (ICT) functions in particular has gained significant popularity as it enables enterprises to avoid up-front capital expenditure and maintain fixed and predictable ICT costs in the long term as well as gain access to technology expertise from established providers.  Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the UAE and the region and one of the Arab Outsourcing Conference & Expo’s Platinum Sponsors, will discuss how ICT outsourcing and managed services can enhance the performance and efficiency of ICT-enabled organizations during the event.

“Outsourcing was adopted by many companies in the region over the past few years to soften the impact of the downturn. Now that we are looking at signs of  global  recovery, organizations  realize  that  outsourcing  has  gone

from being just a stopgap measure to being an effective tool for optimizing operations and enhancing business focus. As a leader in ICT outsourcing and managed services Injazat will continue to assist Middle Eastern enterprises in realizing the full potential of their outsourcing strategies,” said Ali El-Zein, Executive Director for Operations at Injazat Data Systems.

The 2010 Arab Outsourcing Conference & Expo will feature four Panel Discussions and On-Focus Sessions, six Master Classes, and 35 Speakers, including Injazat’s Executive Director for Operations, Ali El-Zein. The main conference and exhibition will run from April 26 to 27, 2010, while the pre- and post-conference masterclasses will be held on April 25 and 28, 2010. Conference sessions will cover Cloud Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, HR Outsourcing, ICT Infrastructure and Business Process Outsourcing, Supply Chain Outsourcing, and Operations and Maintenance and Facilities Management Outsourcing.

Last year’s highly successful inaugural edition of the Arab Outsourcing Conference & Expo attracted over 125 delegates from various industries.  Injazat Data Systems was one of the event’s key supporters. Injazat holds more than 50 per cent of the UAE's IT outsourcing market and owns and operates the Middle East’s first Tier IV design-certified data centre.
