Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing receives high level delegates from Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment in the United Arab Emirates on Monday, February 08, 2010 at the site which showcases the prototype of the Smart Homes in Hamad Town. The delegation was lead by Mr. Sami Abdulla Gargash- Board Member and CEO, who attended a session on smart building technology, which presented the dignitaries with detailed information on the new initiative of Smart Homes that aims to provide long lasting, energy efficient homes to the citizens of Bahrain at a faster pace. The presentation was made by the Ministry of housing’s representative, Sami Juma Mandeel, Acting Director, Housing Projects Construction & Maintenance.
On this occasion, Mr. Sami Abdulla Gargash Board Member - CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment said: "There is no doubt that the visit aims at future cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain. We met with officials of the Ministry of Housing and Iskan Bank, and we look forward to future cooperation. We congratulate the creativity of this sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and as explained by the Ministry of Housing officials who highlighted the region’s need to create a specialized center that provides high production of these materials to supply the needs of the market . We look forward to a mutually beneficial joint cooperation with a common vision to complete projects faster and at a lower cost”. He also thanked the Minister of Housing and the ministry officials for their hospitality.
