Members of the Modhesh Friends’ Club freak out at their first grand party of the season held in Modhesh Fun City
Over 300 members of the Modhesh Friends’ Club had their first grand party of the season in Modhesh Fun City on Monday. Coming as part of the entertaining activities of the summer guild the party was yet another reason to celebrate for the holidaying children who just opted to freak out in this ‘abode’ of their favourite mascot Modhesh whom they consider as a dear friend.
Said Maitha Gobash, Senior Communication Projects Coordinator, “What better place to enjoy a party than the cool confines of the large facility that too at the end of the day’s activities as the overexcited kids in all their party finery complete with colourful conned caps and hooters enjoyed the proceedings to the hilt. The cake cutting ceremony was the most exciting one for the little ones who freaked out in the company of their favourite Spacetoon characters who accompanied them to a singalong and dance session back at the Club stage. This joint party held in cooperation with the Modhesh Fun City was a huge success indeed.”
Added Shaikha Al Jassmi, DSS Events Coordinator, “This first such party of the season will lead to many more in the future and will involve all visitors of the Modhesh Fun City, the leading fun destination of Dubai. The excitement on the faces of the children is very rewarding. From the time we started dressing them up for the occasion through face-painting, make-up etc it became really very difficult to control them as the kids simply wanted to head straight to the spot where the cake was placed. But then the party was a great success as the kids enjoyed the most and are already looking forward to another one soon.” Shaikha also pointed out that this maiden event has opened the door for all Modhesh fans and Fun City visitors to mark their special day in the climate-controlled premises of this star attraction of DSS.
Running throughout the Dubai Summer Surprises from June 21 to August 31, the Modhesh Fun City is open to public from 10am to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 11pm on Thursdays and Saturdays and 3pm to 11pm on Fridays. The entry tickets are priced at Dh 20 for kids, which also include some free rides, and Dh 10 for adults.
