Moderate earthquake hits Egyptian coast

According to Earthquakes Today, a magnitude 5 earthquake occured 16 miles off the coast oh Dahab, Egypt.

The earthquake struck at 4:45am local time. 

While magnitude 5 earthquakes can cause some structural damage to buildings, no losses or casualties have been reported.

Elat, Israel and Aqaba, Jordan also reported feeling the shock, but no damages. 

Aftershocks may occur in the following days.
