ALBAWABA- The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority has reported a missile strike on a ship near Aden in Yemen.

The attack is believed to be a response to the recent US-British airstrikes on multiple targets in Yemen, particularly in areas under Houthi control.

In a new update, according to a Yemeni military source, Ansar Allah forces, commonly known as the Houthis, have targeted a ship in the Red Sea that was reportedly heading to Israel.

The source revealed that the targeting occurred after the ship rejected warnings directed at it.

Previously, Houthi spokesperson Mohammed Abdulsalam, in an interview, confirmed their measures to prevent ships destined for Israel from passing through the Red and Arab Seas.

He warned of Yemen's retaliation against what he termed as US-UK aggression.
