Thirty year old actress Minnie Driver had her appendix taken out on Aug. 21, after she suffered acute pains in her stomach, and is now recuperating, her publicist confirmed, reported ABC online.
The London Mirror said that the curly-haired actress was “bent double with abdominal pain” on the set of her new movie, High Heels and Lowlifes.
Meanwhile, following the successful surgery, she was visited by boyfriend Josh Brolin. The name of the hospital treating the Good Will Hunting Oscar nominee has not been made public.
It’s also not known when Driver can return to resume filming on the gangster comedy.
A spokesperson for the actress described her condition with typical British reserve, admitting to London’s Evening Standard Friday only that Driver was suffering from “stomach problems”-Albawaba.com.
