As of next June, fees for all labour transactions with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs will have to be paid by the e-stamp, an electronic mode of payment replacing the paper stamps, disclosed Humaid bin Deemas, the ministry's Assistant Under-Secretary for Financial Affairs.
According to Khaleej Times, the ministry introduced a few months ago the system of payment by e-stamps at its offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah and stopped accepting the applications forms for employment visas which do not carry the e-stamp. (Albawaba.com)
