Mine collapse kills 12 people in Pakistan

ALBAWABA - According to local officials, a mine has collapsed killing at least 12 workers, as rescue efforts concluded after an extensive search. 

"The rescue effort has concluded with the recovery of all 12 dead bodies. Two bodies were recovered during the night, with the remaining 10 retrieved early in the morning," Abdul Ghani Baloch, Balochistan province's chief inspector of mines, told AFP that the accident occurred 80 kilometers (50 miles) east of the provincial capital, Quetta.
