MidEast debut for BenQ A53 and S32

Digital lifestyle solutions leader, BenQ has unveiled the A53 and S32 versions of its latest notebook series. The launch adds to BenQ’s ever-expanding line of Joybook laptops, following its recently announced Q41 and R43 models. Both the A53 and the S32 combines cutting edge technology and contemporary design.

The 15.4” WXGA (wide screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels) Joybook A53 is powered by Intel’s® Core™2 Duo processor T8100. It incorporates carefully chosen specifications including exclusive UltraVivid Technology, Wi-Fi capability, integrated webcam and Windows® Vista™ certification.

The aluminium band across the notebook’s lid echoes the same brushed metal finish on the palm rest with exquisite arcs imprinted on the touchpad. The lustrous display bezel adopts the latest RHCM (Rapid Heat Cycle Moulding) process, and the high-gloss LCD screen further enhances the A53’s beautifully holistic design. BenQ’s visual display expertise additionally amplifies all applications from videoconferencing to charts and diagrams. 

An industry-best 8-millisecond response time to display fast-action games and dynamic movies from the Joy book’s PowerDVD clearly stands it out from the competition.

The Joybook A53’s keyboard reflects the same emphasis on innovation and enhanced user experience as the overall design. “An integrated numerical keypad to the right of a full-sized alphanumeric keyboard gives the Joybook A53 a considerable ergonomic and productivity advantage over other laptops. Also the A53’s keys are 20% larger than other conventional laptop keyboards, offering greater space and ease of use,” said Bakshi.

While the visual stylings of the A53 symbolise the concept of human connection in the metropolis, it is the A53’s select technologies that make it a functioning reality.  Users will enjoy the intimacy of community with the Joybook’s well thought out connectivity features, including integrated webcam, speakers and microphone, with smart noise suppression and echo cancellation.  A Wireless-LAN card enables quick and stable office or hotspot connection for ultimate wireless convenience.  Users can easily go online to share music, e-mail, video and life’s experiences through high-speed Wi-Fi networks without the limitations of landline cables. 

With the S32, on the other hand, BenQ claims that a casual glance is sure to turn into a mesmerised stare. It comes equipped with a 13.3” wide display screen that achieves an ideal balance between compact size and spacious on-screen view.

The built-in 1.3 megapixel QEye webcam and internal microphone let you to enjoy video chats with friends and family.

The Joybook S32 leads the way in adopting the latest Intel Centrino Duo processor technology along with the Windows Vista operating system. Incorporated Intel Core2 Duo Processor and Intel GM965, Express Chipset ensures operation stays smooth even when numerous applications are open.
