Meet Gary Rider, President, Polycom EMEA

Gary Rider joined Polycom in 2010 as president, Polycom EMEA. He leads Polycom's EMEA management team in developing and executing strategies and plans to drive aggressive revenue and market-share growth in the theatre. Gary brings to Polycom a wealth of business management and sales experience, a deep appreciation of how to succeed in a geographically complex and culturally diverse theatre, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

 

Gary joined Polycom following a successful seven-year career at NCR, where he led the transformation of NCR’s EMEA theatre to a highly profitable, US$1.75B success story—and the largest theatre at NCR. Prior to NCR, he held several senior roles with StorageTek, HP and Digital Equipment.
 

Dan Verbruggen, Director Indirect Sales Channel, Enterprise Security, VASCO

 

Dan Verbruggen started his career in IT in 1999 as an account manager at KPN Belgium with a specialization in security solutions. Then for several years he was Sales and Marketing Manager for aXs GUARD Gatekeeper Security solutions by Able NV, a company which got acquired by VASCO DATA SECURITY in 2006. Since then he became responsible for expanding the Enterprise Security Sales strategy as the Director for the Indirect Channel Sales EMEA.

 

Dan will be interested in discussing Cloud computing trend and online applications + the need for Authentication or Vasco Channel Sales strategy (in the Middle East): The Bundling concept vs project business.
 

Paul Reeves, EMEA Director, VBrick Systems

 

Paul Reeves will return to Gitex this year and will focus on three key areas of VBrick's expertise:

•VBrick's new OCS/SharePoint products
•Its new digital signage products
•Lecture capture - VBrick is used in over 1,000 educational institutions with lecture capture as a very important application
 

Abdel Wahed Bendaoua, Google's Head of Enterprise, Middle-East Africa Eastern Central Europe

Abdel Wahed Bendaoua has just taken over as Head of Google Enterprise and will be available on the FVC stand to meet partners, customer and editors for the first time. He will discuss the ongoing partnership with FVC and Google Enterprise adoption in the Middle East.
